Founded back in 2000, ‘a space’ has continued to build their reputation, developing a varied portfolio of projects and supporting the artistic talent within the local community in Southampton.
In 2012, the charity began work on one of their most ambitious projects, the renovation of God’s House Tower, an arts and heritage venue in the heart of Southampton’s Old Town. Fast forward to 2019 and having undergone a major refurbishment to modernise and open up the venue, ‘a space’ were ready to welcome visitors to their immersive audio-visual exhibition at God’s House Tower.
“We needed to find a ticketing solution that would work alongside our existing security gate,” Hannah Preston, Venue Manager at ‘a space’ arts, explains,” We wanted our visitors to be able to buy tickets online in advance, or on the day of their visit from the ticket office, which they could then use to gain access to the exhibition. Through exploring the options available to us, AdvaNova were recommended, and we were put in touch with the sales team.”
