Based in Newcastle, Northumbria University is home to three academic libraries: the City Campus, Coach Lane and Law Practice libraries. The University Library initially sought out an upgrade from their existing electromagnetic kiosks to RFID functionality, as work to implement RFID security within the Library Collection had already been completed.
