Inspiring the next generation:  installations for Nottinghamshire County Council

Nottinghamshire’s Inspire group chose AdvaNova after a thorough tender process, resulting in self-service kiosks and Live Scanning Wands being introduced across 50 libraries

Inspire: Culture, Learning, and Libraries is a member-based organisation providing cultural and educational experiences across Nottinghamshire. As a National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England, Inspire operates a wide network of public libraries. In 2022, the organisation sought to upgrade its library services and issued a tender for self-service kiosks across 50 locations.

Inspire manages around 70 active libraries and needed a trusted partner to replace outdated self-service kiosks and RFID circulation pads. Their goal was to improve checkout speed, enhance security, and streamline operations across their library network. The project’s tender required a supplier who could offer reliable solutions while meeting procurement standards.

“AdvaNova have revolutionised the way we categorise and check out books. Their solutions have helped to enhance security, making staff’s lives easier, and, crucially, giving our visitors easier access to learning resources. We are so grateful for their help.”
