With 11 libraries at the University of Manitoba, there is a high volume of students, faculty and research teams looking to access study rooms. While some of these libraries were using LibCal, others were still taking bookings manually. Although LibCal was providing some automation of bookings, there was still a requirement for someone to hand out and collect keys, and check this against the booking schedule. Students dropped by the Circulation Desk throughout the day to request rooms, cancel bookings, and pick up or drop off keys.
